Berghouse Cottage 3
Overview
Cottage 3 is the group cottage at Berghouse, in the Northern Drakensberg with big views of the Amphitheatre. Four en-suite bedrooms sleep eight, around an open-plan kitchen, lounge and dining area.
A thatched lapa with a braai joins the cottage, and the farm has seven kilometres of river and three dams for fly fishing and tubing, plus horse rides on sure-footed ponies.
Why we love it
We love the Amphitheatre view from the lapa, and that dinner and breakfast can be delivered to the door on nights nobody wants to cook.

Good to know
The cottage takes a minimum of five guests. Wi-Fi and daily morning housekeeping are included; there’s no TV. The last three kilometres are on a gravel road. Johannesburg and Durban are each about three hours away. No pets.
