Fish Eagle Villa, Sabi Sand

Fish Eagle Villa is a private three-bedroom home beside the Sabie River at Ivory Lodge, in the Lion Sands reserve in the Sabi Sand. It sleeps eight, six adults and two children, and it’s booked for exclusive use only.

The three en-suite bedrooms look over the river. There’s an open living area with a full kitchen, lounge, study and dining room, a 10-metre lap pool, a wine room and a fire deck. A concierge, chef, butler, housekeeper, field guide, tracker and private vehicle come with it.

This is a malaria area, so speak to a travel clinic before you go, especially with little ones. All ages are welcome, and there’s a kids’ activity programme and childminding. Meals, house drinks, game drives, bush walks, spa treatments, laundry, gratuities and Skukuza airport transfers are included.
