Drakensberg
Thekwane’s Nest Ondini House

Overview
Ondini House is a five-bedroom self-catering house tucked deep into the Drakensberg mountains, and it sleeps ten. Three bedrooms have double beds, one has a queen and one has two singles.
The big entertainment area has a fireplace, a pool table and a dartboard, and it opens to a lovely garden. The kitchen and dining room are large, with a gas stove. The house runs off the grid on solar power and rainwater tanks.
Why we love it
We love a house where the rainy-day plan is already sorted: a fire, a pool table and darts. It’s simple, roomy and right in the mountains.
