Waterberg, Limpopo
Ant’s Nest (exclusive use)

Overview
Ant’s Nest is the original thatched homestead on a private Waterberg reserve, set in a natural amphitheatre with a wide veranda and a waterhole out front. Six en-suite bedrooms sleep twelve, and the whole lodge can be booked for your group alone.
There’s a 15-metre heated pool in a big garden and a thatched chill-out spot with huge daybeds. Days are filled with horse riding, game drives, walks, mountain biking and fishing, and rhinos sometimes graze a few metres from the pool loungers.
Why we love it
We love it for multi-generation trips: riders can head out on horseback, little ones can do pony walks, and everyone meets for sundowners at the waterhole.
