Melton Manor, Kwandwe

Melton Manor is a contemporary safari villa on Kwandwe, a malaria-free private reserve in the Eastern Cape, refurbished in 2024. Four en-suite bedrooms sleep eight, each opening off a central courtyard with a pool, and each with a big veranda and a bath with a view.

Your own chef cooks in the farm-style kitchen, and a private ranger, tracker and vehicle mean every drive, guided walk and fishing trip runs at your group’s pace. Between outings there’s the pool, the library and the garden.

Kwandwe is malaria-free. Rates are for the whole villa and include all meals, most drinks, laundry and activities; conservation and reserve levies are extra. An infant cot is available. Port Elizabeth airport is about two hours’ drive away. Check-in 13:00, check-out 11:00.
