Ngalas Rest 101, Mjejane

Ngalas Rest is a self-catering bush lodge in Mjejane Game Reserve, part of the Greater Kruger. Five en-suite bedrooms sleep ten, two with king-size beds and three with twin beds, and each has an indoor and an outdoor shower.

The open-plan kitchen has a scullery, pantry and laundry, and the lounge has a TV. The living area opens onto a patio with a built-in braai that looks over the pool, there’s a viewing deck, and the boma is yours for evenings around the fire.

This is a malaria area, so speak to a travel clinic before you go. All five bedrooms have air-conditioning and ceiling fans, and linen and towels are provided. Cleaning is included on weekdays and Saturday mornings, except public holidays. There’s a two-night minimum, a R2 000 breakage deposit, and no pets. Undercover parking for three cars.
