Overview
Kwandwe Fort House is a private villa on Kwandwe, a malaria-free private reserve in the Eastern Cape. Two main suites and two twin rooms sleep eight, and there’s plenty of room to spread out inside and out, with a heated pool, a spa room, a fireplace and a fire pit.
Your own chef, butler, guide, tracker and 4×4 come with the house. Three meals a day are cooked in the villa kitchen, and most drinks are included.
Why we love it
We love the hands-on conservation outings here: planting spekboom, visiting the reserve’s pre-school, or joining the team on a rhino conservation safari. It turns a family safari into something the kids will talk about for years.
